General Plan Technical Advisory Committee
To provide ongoing and specific guidance throughout the update process, the City has organized a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) consisting of staff-level representatives from the City and local agencies. The TAC will meet periodically to guide and review analysis, draft documents, and recommend policies and implementation measures. One of the primary objectives of this general plan update is to create a better platform for implementation. By including department heads and other key representatives throughout the entire process, the City will demonstrate the importance and role of the general plan throughout all aspects of city management and operations, and create opportunities for stronger internal coordination.
The TAC is scheduled to meet six times during the update process (see the Detailed Task Schedule). Although these are not public meetings, agendas and materials for these meetings can be found in the Outreach + Input page of this website.
